So this review is a two parter.  First, I just gotta get my 2 cents worth in on the subject and then I’ll turn it over to someone who actually went to the show, my wife, who took the pics and her hot buddy, Tara McLeod who wrote the review.

First off I gotta say Britney is fuckin hot.  Her music just isn’t my cup of anything so I’d go so far as to say it SUCKS in capital letters.  But that video for “One Manaza”… amazing.  What a Goddess!

She can dance I suppose, but I’m not much of a dancer so maybe she sucks at that too but I wouldn’t know.  She LOOKS like she can dance to me.  She’s got great moves and is an awesome poser.  Really, a photographer’s dream.  She just oozes sex out of every pore of her body and she’s found a great way to dress it up and market it all.

Yeah sure, she lip syncs her whole show but she DID actually sing in the studio I think.  Kinda hard to do a triple axle with a rotating vaginal twist and sing “Ooops I did it again” at the same time.

I sort of feel sorry for her in a way.  She’s one of those “pop stars” that the media just won’t leave alone.  Like Michael Jackson.  I’d almost bet he never molested any kids, there’s just too many assholes out there who wanna make hush money by the truckload. 

She’s under a microscope.  Doesn’t matter what she does, she’s fucked. So she literally has to live a life of body guards, fenced off property, loneliness and paranoia.  Sure she’s a millionaire but can she actually go “shopping” unless she shows up at 2am for a private run through a mall?  Half the fun of going to the mall is people watching.  Just sitting back with a coffee and laughing at some of the shit you see flowing around in the mall is priceless.  You can’t BUY that anywhere.

You know… track pants family over by the drug store, the Klumps in line at the ice cream shop, the couple in matching yellow hoodies with their mouths hanging wide open the whole time, trailer mom swearing at her 6 kids for stealing shit from the dollar store… killer entertainment that she just can’t sit back and enjoy without being recognized and ripped apart right there on the spot.

So you’ve obviously detected my soft spot for Miss Spears.  Even though I can’t stand most of what she represents and sells, I can always appreciate the eye candy she brings to the table and how she can easily turn my soft spot into a hard one.

With that, I’ll turn the piece over to the lovely and delicious, Tara McLeod.

Miss Britney Spears Circus started out with a real circus, 3 rings, complete with acrobats, clowns, contortionists... they were amazing, extremely professional, and talented. Left us breathless.

After a short intermission, the lights went down, and this cylindrical video screen lowered to the main stage, center ring, played creepy music and had even creepier images of circus freaks narrated by the weirdest transvestite in Victorian garb.

When it lifted, Miss Britney descended from the ceiling on a trapeze and the crowd went fucking nuts! From the beginning, we were expecting the moon. BUT...we didn't quite get it, not from her anyway. She lip-synced pretty well every song, but we expected that... that wasn't the problem. We assumed the lip syncing would be a trade-off for the kick-ass dancing and theatrics she'd be bringing. But she didn't REALLY bring it. Her dancers totally did! The dancers, the pro's who created the sets and the choreographers deserved major props... The best dancers/performers I've ever seen. I won't bore you with the details of their incredible toned, hard bodies that moved perfectly in sync with every beat... sorry... got side tracked there. :-)

Anyway, Britney clearly knew the dance routines, and never missed her marks but it was sloppy, not super tight like it should have been at the very least. Bottom line: she did NOT bring her “A Game”.

Considering this being her big come back, we all expected more... at least her appearing to put in 100% effort, which she definitely didn't. Now even tho I bashed Brit's half-assed dancing, over all the Circus show was pretty amazing thanks to all the dancing and theatrics from her team.

Sorry Brit, you personally didn't really deliver... we DID want a piece of you, the piece we paid hundreds of dollars for...the cost of the over-priced tickets. I enjoyed the concert a lot over all, but would I pay that kind of money to see it again... no way.
