Long after I SHOULD have seen them, I finally saw them.  There was hardly anyone in the audience which meant I got a seat upgrade with no questions asked.  I paid for 20th row and got 4th instead.  Even though Tommy Lee wasn't in the band, the 3 front members got out there and kicked some serious ass.  I noticed each member had really AGED.  I mean packed on the poundage Vince Neil and Nikki Sixx did.  Mick Mars just looked fucking old.  But then he ALWAYS looked fucking OLD.  They didn't SOUND old though.  They were pretty well dead on with most tunes.  Even the drummer, some CHICK that used to play for Hole, was dead on most of the time.  She fuckin brutalized anything with double bass runs in them though.  Live Wire should have been dropped from the set FOR SURE.   

I never heard nobody stumble through such a simple double bass line in my life.  I really wanted to see Anthrax open up for this gig but they got booted off the tour cuz the tour was losing money at an astronomical rate.  Megadeth's Dave Mustaine was quoted as saying, if the Crue would have just dropped one of their trailers full of SHIT, Anthrax would have been able to stay. I really was there just to see Anthrax so needless to say it was a huge disappointment that they weren't there.

All in all it was a lotta fun to be there that night.  Laughing at the Mullets and the old used to be hotties trying to show off how sexy they were with their camel toes, saggy, breast feeding tits, spare tires and gunts out in full force.  Just checking out the crowd was worth the price of admission!
