| MMM Nicole.. so cute. So, "girl next door". Such a sweet little voice. And then there's her guitar. Fuckin Les Paul crunch. They should make a cereal called Les Paul Crunch. Never mind the Captain. He played fuckin PIANO. Scratching Post or at least Nicole Hughes, first broke into the music scene in London, Ontario so this was something of a home town gig for her. I didn't really know fuck all about Scratching Post. | I knew they had a tune on the radio or something like that but my one buddy knew Nicole from partying downtown and whatnot so he talked me into coming out to see them. Well, I showed up and he didn't. And now I have pics of a band that I don't even think tours anymore. I hope so. She was original, doing the sweet little voice and raunchy guitar thing way before anyone else made it popular. |
