Being
a long time fan of the Trailer Park Boys, I had some pretty high expectations of
this live show. Especially seeing as they’d pulled the plug on any future
seasons of what has become possibly the most popular Canadian TV show of all
time after only 7 seasons. The show’s popularity wasn’t waning at all, the TV
audience had only grown every season and every time Ricky, Bubbles and Julian
made an appearance, the crowd would go nuts. Hell even Randy and Lahey were
kicking ass touring around with their stage show. So why end the show
altogether? I often heard the reason being that the guys wanted to move on and
do other things. So why are they still making appearances as the Trailer Park
Boys? Why wouldn’t they just continue to do the show and milk the appearances
during the off season? Anyway.. apparently somebody’s gonna do something after
TPB that ISN’T TPB and I’m still waiting for whatever that may be.
That being said, my expectations were fulfilled. The show wasn’t a work of rocket science but for pure entertainment value, it was pretty damn good. The whole premise was that they were to do community service hours that were ordered by a judge for some crime they committed. The show starts out with a whole whack of smoke pouring onto the stage as Bubs, Ricky n Julian got high for the show. They staged a puppet show exposing the hazards of smoking dope etc.. this didn’t last long as Ricky would not cooperate and stepped out onto the stage to a thunderous applause. Julian was quick to follow and then Bubs, the googly eyed green bastard himself graced the stage and the place went nuts. All in all it was a pretty cool set up. Lots of audience participation like a guitar “shredding” contest that Bubbles judged, a joint rolling contest between three chicks who obviously never have rolled a doobie before, and an appearance by Ricky’s “Reveen” act where he apparently hypnotized the whole audience, nevermind the 20 people lined up on stage.
Maybe the guys DO have a career after the Trailer Park Boys show. But it looks like it’s AS the Trailer Park Boys.

When
I heard Randy n Lahey were gonna show up in Guelph to put on a little
show for us, I couldn't fuckin wait to get out there and meet them.
After meeting the other guys, I figured these two would be just as cool
and easy going if not more so.
Well the show was definitely different. A little bit of character and a little bit of real life. Half the time acting like the drunk and very openly gay (not that there's anything wrong with that) couple they portray on TV, and the other half telling us what they're all about in real life. The show was very funny and full of all kinds of interesting tidbits about the other characters and actors on the show as well as themselves.
It would have been nice if the drunk fuckin assholes who showed up could have shut their fuckin yaps for a few minutes and let Randy & Lahey do their show. Every ten seconds one of the idiots was yelling some dumb ass shit at them and drowning out half of what they were saying. I didn't pay $15 to go listen to these little cocksuckers!! If I wanted to hear what they had to say, I'd go sit in a public bathroom and wait for someone to fart! Thanks a lot guys for ruining half the show! Finally someone went over and threatened the little fuck's lives and put an end to the Shiticane.
During the routine
there was plenty opportunity to win prizes with the political trivia,
TPB trivia, and the ever popular, who has the biggest gut contest.
Randy has a big fuckin gut. 6 inch difference. What
they were measuring was before and after... suck it in, measure... bulge
it out, measure... what's the difference in inches? Well
according to the guys, there has never been someone with a 7 inch
difference before they came to Guelph. Funny thing is the guy who
won isn't even really fat at all!! Some fuckin cuntortionist or
something.
After the shit winds stopped blowing, the guys warmly welcomed their fans by signing autographs, posing for pictures and just genuinely yapping with everyone and anyone willing to talk. I mean these guys had no airs about them at all. Just a couple good dudes, having a great time sharing stories with people and having a good laugh. Aint that what having a good time is all about?

Some
friends of ours told us we just gotta check out this fucked up show called
the Trailer Park Boys. Yeah OK. So we tune in and sit there
shaking our heads in disbelief at how low our T.V. entertainment has
stooped. This show about three fuckin assholes, a couple of which
you'd swear are retarded, is totally sinking T.V. to an all time
low.
Swearing every other fuckin word, growing dope, smoking dope,
getting pissed drunk and driving around, firing off guns like they're
toys... WHAT IN THE FUCK? It was like a train wreck. I
couldn't look away though. I was riveted. I had to see what
stupid fuckin dumb shit these idiots were gonna do next. After the
experience ended, we shook our heads and tried to forget. But forget
we couldn't. We talked about this STUPID fuckin show for a full week
til the next episode reared it's ugly head. Do we tune in?
Fuck no.
Well
there we are watching it again. And again. And
again. And Again. So now we're addicted to these
assholes. I even discovered somehow that I do a great impression of
Bubbles, the one you'd swear is retarded for sure. Hmmm... maybe
they're not so far off from us than we think. My wife and I are a
couple Fuck Offers now too. Tune in and check this
shit out. You'll never look at life the same again. Hash
hockey. B.T.s. Hydroponics. Samsquamtches.
Shopping carts and BBQ's. It will all become so normal you'll swear
it's been there all along. We had to meet them when they showed up
for an autograph signing in T.O. Bubbles didn't have his glasses so
he didn't look at all like what we expected but they were good guys,
willing to sign all kinds of shit and put up with us bugging the fuck
outta them. Next time I'm bringing MY Bubbles glasses!!
