London, Ontario - Call The Office - Winter 97

We were ALL feeling like shit. Bill (the dude with the glasses) had a major cold, the rest of the band was under the weather, I had a cold. It was just a really fuckin gross time to be anywhere near any of us... so... we all hung out together that night. And once they hit the stage, you would have never known they were feeling like shit cuz they did a stellar show in a venue that's really hard to BE stellar. Later on they went to the states and got a couple big hits under their belts.

The other lead singer, Greg Nori, started managing a band that a few of you may have heard of.... Sum41. Well, needless to say, Greg got a whole lot more busy managing someone else than he ever was with Treble Charger and I would think the Treble Charger project got shelved... at least for the time being. I hope these guys get back together some day. I STILL haven't hooked back up with them to give them their photos from the FIRST time I shot them.

London, Ontario - The Other Side - Summer '97

I was impressed by Treble Charger's tightness and diversity. One minute they'd be singing something real nice. Something my MOM would even like. Next minute they've got a mosh pit going on in front of them. I was thinking, make up your fuckin minds guys. But then after a while I didn't want them to. They were a welcome change to the 20 minute 1,2,3 Thrash type bands and the 2 hour crying acoustic fucks. Diversity is good.

Keeps everyone happy. You can sit back and mellow out for a few... take a few photos, have a beer... and then dive back into the pit and jump around like an asshole for a while. They were really good shits, too. All of them. I had a couple drinks with Rosie, the bass player, after the show. Gave him a couple KISS photos, him being a huge KISS fan and all. I'm sure to this day, I'll remind him of that night and he'll remember immediately.
